OVERVIEW

Ignify has developed RAPID – a proven framework to accelerate and de-risk implementations by delivering standard deliverables out of the box cutting down the overall implementation time significantly. RAPID stands for Ready to use And Proven Implementation Deliverables. Examples of pre-built deliverables including functional design documents, conference room pilots and pre-configured ERP environments that help brings projects under budget. For example, while implementing the financials section – Ignify has pre-written deliverables such as an Accounts Payable Specification, Bank Reconciliation Design document, General Ledger Training and Accounts Receivable Process Flows. These pre-built deliverables ensure accelerated learning for customers as well as cut down the consulting hours required for an implementation.

DESCRIPTION

RAPID is built on the Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step methodology. Sure Step provides a structured approach to implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP. The Sure Step Methodology provides detailed guidance about the roles that are required to perform activities and proven best practices. Flowchart diagrams within this implementation methodology point to tools and templates that can be used at different phases of an implementation project.

Sure Step Methodology organizes the approach into five distinct phases during the implementation project lifecycle –

  1. Analysis
  2. Design
  3. Development
  4. Deployment
  5. Operation

A standard set of templates are available depending on the type of projects. The most common project types are listed below:

  1. Standard Implementation: Typically used as a lean approach to implement Microsoft Dynamics at a single site with moderate complexity
  2. Enterprise Implementation: Typically used where a standardized approach for implementing Microsoft Dynamics in either a complex single-site environment or in a global/ multi-site organization where country specific solutions have to be factored on top of a core solution.
  3. Agile Implementation: Uses an iterative, incremental process for developing Microsoft Dynamics Solutions. This project gives customer greater control over the final solution because customers can quickly change the direction of the solution from one sprint cycle to next. Typically used at a single site requiring specific features and moderate to complex customizations.
  4. Rapid Implementation: an accelerated approach for implementing Microsoft Dynamics with minimal or no customizations. This can be used in situations characterized by a limited scope where the basic application features are desired, and/or where the large majority of the customer’s business processes are not considered as complex.
