DIRS is a functionally rich and easy to use software solution for Medical Imaging. It provides sophisticated way of managing patient records along with captured images and multiple video recordings. 

DESCRIPTION

Single Screen Solution.

  1. Easy to use – very short learning curve.
  2. Date wise patient list is provided on main screen for easy & instant access to patient records.
  3. Lock/Unlock patient data to prevent accidental modifications.
  4. Write referral letters (with images) and save it along with patient record for later retrieval.
  5.  Flexible search mechanism to find individual patient record from existing database.
  6. One click preview, for viewing reports on screen before printing.

Flexible & Dynamic Reporting

  1. Users can define multiple procedures.
  2. Each procedure can have multiple reporting templates, one of which can be selected while entering the result. This facilitates fast, easy and error free reporting.
  3. Extremely flexible test report template designer to fashion your reports – use multiple fonts, colors and images. Suitable for both plain and preprinted stationary.
  4. Print as many images of any size placed any where on the report.
  5. Locate, align and label the report contents in your desired way to make the report more informative and easily understood.
  6. Export patient report to PDF format.
  7. Supports reporting using MS-Word.

Video Profiles.

  1. Create different video setting profiles for different procedures. Ex. Colonoscopy & ERCP may have different image size, different cropping and masking requirements.
  2. Each profile has its own settings such as size, cropping margins, image mask, video source, video standard (PAL, NTSC), etc.
  3. Link profiles to procedures so that associated profile is automatically applied while recording particular procedure video.
  4. Single click to switch video profile in real time while viewing or recording live video.8

Real time video source switching

  1. Capture stills & videos from two different video sources by switching between them.
  2. It is helpful for those medical procedures that are required to be performed in co-ordination with dual video source monitoring. Ex. ERCP & ENDOSONOGRAPHY.
  3. The video sources can be switched without stopping/pausing video recording.

Video Editor 

  1. Use video editor to split and merge selective portions of different videos into one. Create short, to-the-point video clips out of lengthy recordings.
  2. Overlay video clips with your organization name, logo, any other text or images to make it more informative & authentic.
  3. Make your video clip more informative by inserting relevant diagnosis images such as from Histopathology, X-Ray, etc.
  4. Join two or more video clips to create a complete case video for specific procedures like ERCP, ENDOSONOGRAPHY.

Image Editor

  1. Enhance captured images by modifying their properties like brightness, contrast, sharpness etc.
  2. Highlight region of interests using lines, arrows, circles, images etc.
  3. Put annotations using different fonts & colors to make the image more informative.

Capture/Image Video Stream

  1. High quality image/video capture.
  2. High resolution image/video capture – 640×480, 720×576 & higher.
  3. No video recording time limit. Record procedures spanning multiple hours.
  4.  Record videos in multiple formats like MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, VCD, DVD, etc.
  5. View full-screen video (both live & recorded), and even take snaps.
  6. Record video in full-screen.
  7. Pause/resume video recordings.
  8. Audio/visual indications while recording is in progress.
  9. Record multiple videos for individual patient.

Video Overlays

Image Croping / Masking.

  1. Remove unwanted black area of the image by defining crop margins.
  2. Image masks can be used to completely remove unwanted area from non rectangular images.
  3. Save Ink = Save Money.

Multifunctional Footswitch.

  1. Press & release foot switch to start video preview or to capture still from running video.
  2. Keep the foot switch pressed for 2sec (changeable) to start/pause/resume video recordings.

Burn CD/DVD of Patient Videos.

  1. Burn Video CD (VCD) or Video DVD of procedure videos playable in VCD/DVD players.
  2. Give recorded video, images & report on CD/DVD with user friendly CD-viewer for enhanced patient satisfaction.
  3. Customizable CD-viewer interface – You can edit the interface to incorporate details such as features and facilities of your organization with images & animations, hyperlink to your web address, etc.
  4. An informative procedure CD packed in an appropriate CD cover will not only satisfies the patient but also represents your sophisticated & professional approach towards the work.

Built in MS-Powerpoint Presentation Designer.

  1. Create interactive presentations for your case studies directly from within DIRS software.
  2. Easy selection of images & videos from existing database to be inserted into presentation.
  3. Burn your presentation to CD/DVD without any broken video links.

Summary Reports-for work Analysis.

  1. Generate various summary reports with different criteria like procedure, doctor, referring doctor, etc. for effective management.
  2. The summary reports can be exported to formats like PDF, MS-Excel, etc.

Database Maintenance.

  1. Backup all or selective case records with reports and videos to CD, DVD, or any other external or internal storage device.
  2. The backup can be accessed (view patient records, play videos, print reports, etc) directly from CD/DVD without restoring.
