Digital document Migration refers to the method of migrating documents saved in a single content repository to some other content repository. The migration is often finished while the prevailing version of the content repository is upgraded to a new edition or a content repository from a new vendor is set up.
DESCRIPTION
The Migration Framework is a collection of pre-built code assets that allows Automated Workflow (AWPL) to conduct migrations in a much more cost effective manner for customers. By using the Migration Framework one could see substantial cost savings.
The Migration Framework consists of modules called “ERs”, so named because each module ends with the phonetic sound of ER. They are as follows:
- Extractor
- Inflator
- Transformer
- Manipulator
- Combiner
- Loader
- Auditor
